Modern Social Gathering with the Purity of Bhajans
The Prime Minister specifically mentioned the phenomenon of "bhajan clubbing," saying that this change reflects the deep roots of Indian culture. He expressed happiness that the youth are maintaining the sanctity and dignity of bhajans even in these modern events. Such videos going viral on social media show that today's youth are giving equal importance to spirituality as to disco and party culture. Calling this a perfect example of tradition and modernity, the PM said that the youth are now making devotion a part of social gatherings, not just limiting it to rituals.
"Celebrate your first vote like a birthday"
Today, January 25th, on the occasion of National Voters' Day, PM Modi made a special appeal to the youth of the country. He said that in a democracy, every vote counts. When a young person casts their vote for the first time, that experience should be celebrated with enthusiasm and zeal, like their birthday. The PM reminded that this day commemorates the establishment of the Election Commission in 1950. He said that only through community participation will democratic awareness be strengthened, and therefore, welcoming new voters should be treated like a celebration.
From space to AI, India is making its mark in the world
Highlighting the changes over the past decade, the Prime Minister also mentioned India's leaps forward in the startup sector. He said that as a result of initiatives launched in 2016, India has become the third largest startup ecosystem in the world. Indian youth are no longer limited to e-commerce, but are also leading the world in complex and futuristic areas such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), space technology, nuclear energy, semiconductors, and green hydrogen. Praising young entrepreneurs, the PM said that their ambition and innovation are reshaping India's economy.
