Faridabad (The Uttam Hindu): Three people died in an AC fire in Green Field Colony of Faridabad, a smart city adjacent to Delhi. According to the information, the husband, wife and daughter were sleeping in the same room. They suffocated.

A fire broke out in an AC installed in a flat on the first floor of the house and a flat on the second floor filled with smoke. This resulted in the death of three people including a couple living in the second floor flat. Fire brigade employees and police reached the spot and took out the bodies of the deceased. All were taken to Asian Hospital in Sector-21C for treatment. Where the doctor declared all three dead. A teenager was also injured in the accident. The son saved his life by jumping down from the second floor. However, he suffered an injury to his leg due to jumping from a height. The deceased have been identified as Sachin Kapoor, his wife Rinku and daughter Sujan.

Actually, Rakesh Malik's split AC caught fire at around 2:45 am. As soon as the fire broke out, Rakesh Malik opened his door. His entire family came out of the building. Sachin Kapoor, who lived on the second floor, did not get a hint of the fire. As soon as the smoke entered Sachin's room where he was sleeping with his wife and daughter on the second floor, he started suffocating. He ran towards the roof to save his life. He could not go to the roof because the staircase gate was closed. Meanwhile, the smoke spread in the three-storey building. Due to which Sachin, Rinku and Sujan suffocated. His son Aryan, who was sleeping in a separate room, ran downstairs when he smelled the smoke. The local people informed the fire brigade and the police.
