‘Never Imagined Such Insults’ – PM Modi on Remarks Against His Mother

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu)- Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated 'Bihar Rajya Jeevika Nidhi Credit Cooperative Union Limited' for the rural women of Bihar through video conferencing on Tuesday. During this, he attacked the Congress-RJD. He said that I cannot imagine what happened in Bihar. The 'insult of a mother' was painful.
PM Modi, while referring to his mother during the program, said, “My mother was insulted from the platform of Congress-RJD. This is not just an insult of my mother, but of every mother.” Prime Minister Modi said, “For our government, the dignity, respect and self-respect of a mother is a very big priority. I had not even imagined what happened a few days ago in this cultured Bihar. My mother was abused from the platform of RJD-Congress in Bihar. This is not just an insult of my mother. This is an insult of the mothers, sisters and daughters of the country. I know how bad all of you, every mother of Bihar, must have felt after seeing and hearing this. The pain I have in my heart is the same pain that the people of Bihar also feel.”
He said, "I am also a son, and today I am sharing my grief after seeing so many mothers and sisters, so that with your blessings I can bear this. I have been engaged in serving the society and the country for about 55 years. I have tried to do whatever I can for the society. I have been blessed by my mother to do this. My mother asked me to serve Maa Bharati, but I am pained by the fact that those who sent me to serve the country were insulted." He targeted the Congress and said, "You all know that now my mother's body is not in this world. Some time ago, after completing 100 years of age, she left us all. That mother of mine who has nothing to do with politics, whose body is also no longer there. That mother of mine was abused from the stage of RJD-Congress. This is very sad, painful and painful. What is the crime of that mother that she was abused?" He said, "The royal family cannot understand the pain of a son. My mother raised me in extreme poverty. The status of a mother is higher than that of a goddess and she was insulted."
