Nitish kumar elected leader of NDA legislative party, submits resignation to Governor

Patna (The Uttam Hindu): Preparations are complete for Nitish Kumar's re-election as the leader of Bihar's political party. Immediately after being elected leader of the NDA legislative party, Nitish Kumar visited the Raj Bhavan and met with the Governor. He has technically submitted his resignation as Chief Minister and also staked claim to form a new government.
The swearing-in ceremony for the new government led by Nitish Kumar will be held tomorrow at the historic Gandhi Maidan in Patna. Nitish Kumar will once again be sworn in as Chief Minister of Bihar in this grand ceremony. The administration has intensified preparations for the swearing-in ceremony.
Earlier, a crucial meeting of all newly elected NDA MLAs was held at the Vidhan Bhavan. BJP leader Samrat Chaudhary proposed Nitish Kumar as the leader of the NDA legislative party. This proposal was unanimously supported by all the MLAs present.
It is noteworthy that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) won a landslide victory in the recent assembly elections. The NDA captured 202 seats in the 243-member Bihar Assembly, a landslide victory.
