'India Defeated Not Just Pakistan, But Three Countries in Operation Sindoor': Deputy Army Chief's Big Statement

New Delhi (Uttam Hindu): The Deputy Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Rahul R. Singh has given a big statement about Operation Sindoor. Addressing a FICCI program, Lieutenant General Rahul R. Singh said that the war was taking place on one border but the opponents were three.
He said, "Pakistan was at the front but China was giving it all possible help. However, there is nothing surprising in this. In the last five years, 81 percent of the weapons Pakistan has been using are from China." Turkey also played an important role in supporting Pakistan.
China is able to test its weapons against other weapons, so it is like a live laboratory for them. Turkey also played a key role in providing this kind of assistance. When the DGMO-level talks were going on, Pakistan was getting live updates about our critical vectors from China. "Air defence and how it was executed throughout the operation was important. This time, the focus (by Pak) was not on our population centres, but next time, we need to be prepared for it," the vice chief of army staff said. He further added, "When the DGMO-level talks were going on, Pakistan had live updates about our critical vectors from China. We need a robust air defence system.
Lt Gen Rahul R Singh also praised the Indian armed forces for carrying out precision strikes on terror infrastructure inside Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir. He also emphasised on the integration of strategic messaging, technology and human intelligence in target selection and planning. He said, “…There are some lessons from Operation Sindoor. The strategic messaging by the leadership was clear… there is no scope for absorbing pain the way we did a few years back… the planning and selection of targets was based on a lot of data collected using technology and human intelligence.
