India dismisses Pakistan's Karachi attack claims, tells Islamabad to end terror safe havens
MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal called the claims baseless and urged Pakistan to dismantle terrorist infrastructure on its soil instead of using terrorism as state policy

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): India has responded sharply to Pakistan's accusations regarding the recent terrorist attack in Karachi. India has called the allegations baseless and urged Pakistan to focus on dismantling the terrorist infrastructure operating from its homeland.
A statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs said that instead of pointing fingers at others, Pakistan should introspect. Responding to media questions about Pakistan's allegations, official spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, "We have seen reports of Pakistan's allegations against India regarding the recent incident in Karachi. We completely reject these allegations."
He further said that instead of pointing fingers at others, Pakistan should look inward, take concrete and credible action against the terrorist infrastructure on its soil and end its tendency to use terrorism as an instrument of state policy.
Let us inform you that three security personnel have been killed in the terrorist attack on Gulistan-e-Johar camp of Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) in Karachi, Pakistan, while three armed attackers have also lost their lives and one injured attacker has been arrested.
There have been numerous reports blaming India for the attack, and India's Ministry of External Affairs has responded by completely rejecting these claims.
Meanwhile, the Pakistani military's media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), claimed in a statement on Sunday that the attack was carried out by terrorists affiliated with Jamaat-ul-Ahrar. According to the ISPR, the armed men first detonated an explosive at the camp's main gate and then tried to enter the premises. However, Rangers personnel swiftly retaliated and thwarted their plans. Jamaat-ul-Ahrar is a splinter group of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
