In this case, on the basis of the statement of the victim, the police have registered an FIR against three people including the teacher and started investigation. Jaynagar police station in-charge Amit Kumar said that an FIR has been registered in the case and a thorough investigation is being conducted.
In her statement to the police, the victim has said that she used to study in a coaching institute run by a teacher named Rakesh Kumar Yadav, who would often molest her when he found her alone. The victim did not tell this to anyone due to fear.
The student alleged that in the meantime, the landlord of the coaching institute Kuldeep Singh and Kamalabari resident Sonu Chaudhary also molested her. Both of them pressured her to make a video of teacher Rakesh Yadav so that Rs 20 lakh could be recovered from her.
According to the victim, about twenty days ago when she was going home from coaching, the landlord Kuldeep Singh and Sonu Chaudhary stopped her. They pointed a pistol at her and threatened her to make a video of the teacher today, otherwise they would kill her.
Scared, the student went into the room and turned on the video recorder of her mobile. Meanwhile, the teacher Rakesh Yadav came into the room and caught her and started doing obscene acts. When the teacher saw the mobile, he tried to snatch it. Then Kuldeep Singh and Sonu Chaudhary came there and they transferred the video from the student's mobile to their phone and deleted it from her mobile.
The victim also alleged that later Kuldeep and Sonu called her and asked her to come to Jaynagar and threatened to make the video viral if she did not come. Scared by this threat, she went to her sister's house in Nepal. Meanwhile, the accused made her video viral on social media.
The police have said that strict legal action will be taken against teacher Rakesh Kumar Yadav, landlord Kuldeep Singh and Sonu Chaudhary as well as the social media operators who made the video viral.
