Somnath (The Uttam Hindu): Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Somnath on the second day of his Gujarat tour, where he participated in the Shaurya Yatra. This procession was taken out in the memory of the brave warriors who sacrificed their lives while protecting the Somnath temple. The procession included a symbolic procession with 108 horses, which is considered a symbol of bravery, courage and sacrifice. The PM was seen in a different style in the Shaurya Yatra. In which he had Damru in both his hands and during this time there was a huge crowd of Shiva devotees there. After this, the Prime Minister performed the rituals of worship in the Somnath temple.

During his address, he may mention historical aspects such as the foreign invasions on the Somnath Temple, the sacrifices of the heroes who fought against them, and the laying of the foundation stone for the temple's reconstruction by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.


Following the conclusion of the Swabhiman Parv, Prime Minister Modi will depart for Rajkot. In the afternoon, he will inaugurate the trade show and exhibition as part of the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference at Marwari University, Rajkot. He will also formally launch the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference for the Kutch and Saurashtra regions and address the gathering.


On this occasion, the Prime Minister will announce the development of 14 Greenfield Smart Estates by the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation and also inaugurate the GIDC Medical Devices Park in Rajkot. In the evening, he will inaugurate the remaining stretch of the Ahmedabad Metro Phase-2, stretching from Sector-10A to Mahatma Mandir, at the Mahatma Mandir Metro Station in Ahmedabad.
