PM Modi meets Delhi blast victims at LNJP hospital after returning from Bhutan visit

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu) : After returning home from Bhutan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited LNJP Hospital to meet the injured in the blast near Delhi's Red Fort. Following this, the Prime Minister may also attend a cabinet meeting on security matters.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is investigating the incident. Earlier, during his two-day visit to Bhutan, Prime Minister Modi had vowed to take strict action against those involved in the Red Fort blast. He delivered a strong message, stating that those involved in the blast would not be spared at any cost.
Referring to the Red Fort blast in Bhutan, Prime Minister Modi said, "I have come here today with a heavy heart. I stand with the affected families. The entire nation stands with them in this hour of grief. No conspirator in this blast will be spared; those responsible will surely face severe punishment."
It should be noted that a blast occurred near the Red Fort in the national capital, Delhi. At least 10 people were killed and several others injured in the blast. The injured have been admitted to LNJP Hospital. Given the severity of the attack, the National Security Agency (NIA) has been entrusted with the investigation. Previously, a team consisting of over 500 officers and soldiers was formed to investigate the blast.
Before the blast near the Red Fort, investigating agencies recovered a large quantity of explosive material from a doctor's flat in Faridabad, Haryana. Two doctors involved in this Faridabad terror module, who are associated with Al Falah University, were also arrested. Following the arrest of these two doctors, Al Falah University issued an official statement stating that it had no involvement in the incident.
