Police-CRPF Achieve Major Success in Chhattisgarh, Naxal Materials Recovered

Gariaband (The Uttam Hindu): Police and CRPF have achieved a major success in Chhattisgarh’s Gariaband district. A joint team of the District Police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) recovered a large amount of material hidden by Naxalites in the Bhalu Diggi forest area under the Mainpur police station limits. This material was hidden by the banned Maoist organization SDK Area Committee to harm police and local people and to spread fear in the region.
Based on local intelligence, police took quick action and launched a joint operation on October 17. The operation included 65(F) Battalion CRPF from Kulhadighat, 65(G) Battalion CRPF from Bindranawagarh, and the District Police Force. The team searched the forest and hilly area and recovered magazine pouches, medical tablets, folding stools, tarpaulins, and other materials used by Naxalites.
According to police, this material was collected by Naxalites to carry out their plans and to attack the security forces. The recovery has given a major setback to their plans. This operation is an important step in the ongoing campaign against Naxalites and is helping to establish peace and security in the area.
Police and CRPF officials said that this joint action not only foiled the Naxal plans but also increased the sense of safety among villagers. They also said that similar actions will continue in the future based on intelligence inputs. Local administration and security forces are keeping a close watch on Naxal-affected areas and appealing for cooperation from villagers.
This success shows good coordination between the Chhattisgarh Police and central forces. Such actions help control Naxal activities and support peace and development in the area. The campaign by the security forces is an important step toward strengthening law and order in Naxal-affected regions.
