Political sensation in Saharanpur: BJP leader shot while sleeping, panic in the house

Saharanpur (The Uttam Hindu): A tragic incident in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, has sparked widespread panic in the area. Unidentified assailants shot and killed a local Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader while he was sleeping in his home. The family discovered his blood-soaked body in the morning, causing widespread panic.
The deceased has been identified as BJP leader Manoj Chaudhary (45), a resident of the Nakur police station area. According to reports, some unknown assailants entered his home late at night by jumping over a wall and opened fire on him while he was sleeping. When family members heard the gunfire and ran to his room, the attackers had already fled.
Upon receiving information about the incident, senior police officers arrived at the scene and began an investigation. Police recovered several shell casings from the scene and are examining CCTV footage from the area. Preliminary investigations suggest a past rivalry, but the police are investigating the case from all angles.
BJP leaders and local residents have expressed deep outrage over the murder and demanded the swift arrest of the culprits. The deceased's family members say that Manoj Chaudhary had no quarrel with anyone and that the murder was the result of a conspiracy.
At present the body has been sent for post-mortem and the police have registered a case of murder against unknown attackers.
