Prayagraj (The Uttam Hindu): Police is in action after the riot in Isota village of Karchana tehsil of Prayagraj. Police is now engaged in arresting the rioters. Action will be taken against them under NSA. At the same time, after the riot, about 42 bikes were found abandoned on the spot, which have been seized by the police. It is believed that these bikes belong to the youths who were involved in the riot, who left their bikes and ran away when the police chased them.


Police arrested 50 people in Prayagraj riot case, seized more than 40 bikes; NSA will be imposed on those who indulged in violence: Currently , it is being ascertained from the bike numbers as to in whose name these vehicles are. They will be called for questioning by sending them notices. According to the police, more than 50 accused have been arrested. At the same time, Azad Samaj Party chief Chandrashekhar Azad says that the rioters were not his party workers. The party workers sat with him peacefully in the Circuit House for 8 hours. He pointed towards a conspiracy behind this entire riot. It is worth noting that during the riot, the rioters vandalized a dozen vehicles including three police vehicles. Many motorcycles were burnt. Many policemen including the outpost in-charge have been injured in the stone pelting.


Actually, yesterday Prayagraj police stopped Nagina MP Chandrashekhar Azad from going to Isota village to meet the family of a Dalit man, after which his angry supporters started creating ruckus. When the police took Chandrashekhar into custody and brought him to the police circuit house, the supporters started vandalizing. They vandalized police vehicles.


In the case, DCP (Yamuna Nagar) Vivek Chandra Yadav said that workers of Chandrashekhar's Azad Samaj Party had gathered in large numbers in Isota village of Karchana tehsil. When they came to know that he cannot enter the village, his angry workers started pelting stones. He said that now the miscreants are being identified and a case is being registered against them.
