New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The country's leaders expressed happiness over India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi receiving the highest honor in Brazil. In this connection, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta posted from her official X handle. CM Rekha Gupta called it a moment of pride.
Sharing this achievement, Rekha Gupta said in a post, "This is a proud moment for India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi being awarded the highest civilian honour by Brazil is a symbol of India's growing prestige in the world." She further wrote, "This prestigious honour is the 26th international honour conferred on the Prime Minister, which reflects the continued global recognition of his visionary leadership and India's dynamic diplomacy." Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar wrote in a post, "It is a proud moment for all of us that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was awarded Brazil's highest civilian honour, the 'Grand Collar of the National Order of the Southern Cross'."
Jaishankar further wrote in the X post, "It recognizes Prime Minister Modi's efforts in strengthening the India-Brazil partnership and our shared commitment to a reformed and representative international order." Manoj Goyal, Chairman, Khadi and Village Industries Commission, MSME Ministry, said, "This highest honor of Brazil is PM Modi's 26th international honor. 26 so far."
