Tragic Loss: Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw's Father Passes Away at 81
Jodhpur (The Uttam Hindu): Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav's father Dau Lal Vaishnav passed away on Tuesday. He was 81 years old and was seriously ill for the last few days. He was undergoing treatment at Jodhpur AIIMS, where he breathed his last at 11:52 am. This information has been given by issuing a press note by AIIMS Jodhpur. It was told in the press note that he was being treated under the supervision of doctors, but despite the best efforts of the team, he could not be saved.
The press release read, “It is with great sorrow that we inform that Shri Dau Lal Vaishnav (81 years), father of Hon'ble Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnav passed away on 08 July 2025 at 11:52 am at AIIMS Jodhpur. He was seriously ill for the last few days and was undergoing treatment at AIIMS Jodhpur. Despite the best efforts of the medical team, he could not be saved.”
The press note further read, "The AIIMS Jodhpur family prays for the peace of the departed soul and expresses deep condolences to the bereaved family." The demise of Daulat Lal Vaishnav has saddened not only the family but also those who knew him. Every common and special person is expressing their condolences on social media.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has expressed grief over the death of Dau Lal Vaishnav. He wrote on the social media platform X, "The news of the death of Dau Lal Vaishnav, father of Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, is extremely sad. My condolences are with the bereaved family. May God give place to the noble soul in his lotus feet and provide strength to the bereaved family in this hour of grief."
Expressing grief, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari wrote in an X post, "The news of the death of Dau Lal Vaishnav, the revered father of Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, is extremely sad. May God give a place to the noble soul in his lotus feet and provide strength to the bereaved family in this difficult time."
