New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu)- Railway Ticket Booking… The problem of booking Tatkal tickets for railway passengers is going to be reduced. Soon e-Aadhaar verification will be necessary at the time of ticket booking. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has given this information through social media platform X. He said that with this rule, needy and real passengers will be able to get confirmed tickets. This will curb fake IDs, agents' fraud and booking by bots. Actually, if your IRCTC account is linked to Aadhaar, then you will get a chance to book Tatkal tickets in the first 10 minutes. IRCTC agents cannot book tickets in the first 10 minutes, that is, common passengers will get the first chance.

Railway Ticket Booking… Actually the railways have found that many people are misusing automatic software (bots) to book tickets. Due to this, common people are not able to get tickets. For this reason, the railways have started taking strict action. As part of the strict action, the railways have closed 2.4 crore fake accounts in 6 months. Investigation of 20 lakh more accounts is underway. There are currently about 13 crore active users on the IRCTC website, but only 1.2 crore of these accounts are linked to Aadhaar. Now the railways will conduct a special investigation of the remaining approximately 11 crore 80 lakh accounts. Accounts found suspicious will be blocked.
