New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The Delhi Police are tightening their grip on Chaitanyananda, accused in a serious sexual abuse case. On Sunday, the Patiala House Court remanded Baba in police custody for five days. Following this, early Monday morning, a Delhi Police team brought Baba to the institute where female students were allegedly being exploited.

Delhi Police arrived at the institute early Monday morning with Chaitanyananda. He was taken to the torture room on the ground floor, where he would call female students for private meetings. Police tracked the locations of CCTV cameras installed at the institute to determine which cameras Baba had access to. They also investigated how he monitored the students' activities. Delhi Police have added Section 351(3) to the FIR, which is a non-bailable offense and is used for serious crimes such as threats to kill. Previously, Section 351(2) was applied, which is considered less serious. Police claim that Baba has sexually abused 16 girls so far, and there is substantial digital evidence of this.

The police had sought custody from the court to confront Baba and the victims and collect hidden digital evidence. Baba's lawyer, on the other hand, opposed this, stating that the police were treating him unfairly. He also argued that Baba is a senior citizen and a saint who is in poor health, and that the police had already confiscated all his belongings. Police investigations revealed that Baba had installed cameras even in bathrooms, which seriously violated the privacy of the female students. Police say that the victim girls were taken to Almora, Gurgaon, and Faridabad. Currently, 16 girls have filed formal complaints in this matter. To strengthen the digital evidence, the police are also investigating IP addresses. The investigation is ongoing, and more major revelations are expected in the coming days.
