Shock on Movie Shoot! Famous Stunt Artist Loses Life Performing Deadly Action Sequence, Watch Horrific Video

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): A tragic incident shook the Tamil film industry as renowned stunt artist S.M. Raju, aged 52, lost his life while performing a high-risk car flip stunt for director Pa. Ranjith’s upcoming film Vettuvan starring Arya.
Actor Vishal shared the heartbreaking news on social media, revealing that Raju was executing a fast car stunt when the vehicle overturned. Crew members rushed to rescue him, but he complained of chest pain and was immediately taken to the Nagapattinam Government Medical College Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

A video circulating online shows the moments just before the accident, with Raju driving at high speed before the car flips. Stunt choreographer Silva expressed condolences, calling Raju one of the finest car-jumping stunt artists, while pledging that the film fraternity would deeply miss him. Actor Arya and director Pa. Ranjith have yet to issue an official statement on the tragic event.
