New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The Supreme Court has given a new interim decision amending its previous order regarding stray dogs in Delhi-NCR. This decision will now be implemented across the country. The Supreme Court, while changing its previous order, said that after vaccination, dogs will be released in their original areas, but rabies-infected or aggressive dogs will not be allowed to be released. Along with this, the court has also made a rule regarding feeding the dogs. Which will be necessary to follow.

Feeding dogs on the streets has also been completely banned. Instead, the Municipal Corporation (MCD) has been directed to create special feeding places for dogs, so that they can be taken care of in a systematic manner. The court has said that dogs will be fed only at designated places. Apart from this, the court has also made it clear that if anyone is found violating these rules, then strict action will definitely be taken against him. The court has not allowed feeding dogs in public places.

A bench of three judges, Justice Vikram Nath, Justice Sandeep Mehta and Justice N.V. Anjaria, has taken this decision. Along with this, it has also been ordered to transfer the related cases pending in all the courts across the country to the Supreme Court. Earlier, the order of the Supreme Court was limited to Delhi-NCR only, but now it has been decided to implement it all over India. The court said that this problem has increased due to the inaction of the local authorities, so strict steps need to be taken. Transferring the cases pending in the courts across the country to the Supreme Court will ensure uniformity and the policy will be implemented effectively.
