Headless Body Found Near Temple, People Scared and Think It Could Be Human Sacrifice

Tikamgarh(The Uttam Hindu): A terrifying incident has rocked Tikamgarh district in Madhya Pradesh, where the headless body of a 32-year-old man was found near a local shrine, sparking fears of a gruesome human sacrifice. The shocking discovery was made in Chadera police station area, where the victim’s severed head lay close to a flag at the ‘Patuliya Baba’ platform, surrounded by suspicious items like a chillum, lemons, coconuts, and salty snacks — signs that have intensified speculation of black magic rituals behind the killing.

The deceased has been identified as Akhilesh Kushwaha, who left his home Sunday afternoon to buy milk but never returned. His mutilated body was found Monday morning by villagers, just a day after his father died of cancer. The double tragedy has devastated Akhilesh’s family, which now consists of his mentally challenged mother and two young brothers, aged four and seventeen.

Police reached the scene quickly and began collecting evidence, while forensic teams examined the suspicious items found near the body. Additional Superintendent of Police Seetaram Satya confirmed that the body has been sent for postmortem and assured that every angle, including the possibility of ritualistic killing, is being investigated thoroughly.

District Superintendent of Police Manohar Singh Mandloi addressed the media, promising a swift resolution to the case and vowing to uncover the truth behind the gruesome murder that has left Tikamgarh residents gripped by fear.
