Workers from both parties confronted each other, leading to a tense situation. The Home Minister's roadshow became a topic of discussion when his convoy passed near Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's residence. During this time, BJP and Trinamool Congress workers clashed. Today, when Shah's convoy arrived at Kalighat, a short distance from Mamata Banerjee's residence, TMC workers shouted slogans like "Jai Bangla" and "Mamata Banerjee Zindabad" in front of the convoy. People wearing black cloth on their heads chanted "Amit Shah Go Back" and waved black flags. This led to clashes between TMC and BJP workers. To control the situation, police erected barricades and controlled the crowd.
