Indore (The Uttam Hindu): A tragic incident occurred in the Simrol area of Indore, Madhya Pradesh, where a parked car suddenly caught fire, claiming the life of a three-and-a-half-year-old boy. The child had accompanied his father, who had gone to help a friend repair a vehicle. Due to the heat, the father left the child inside the car with the windows open while he worked nearby. After some time, smoke began rising from the vehicle, which quickly turned into a massive blaze before anyone could react.

As the fire intensified, the car’s central locking system prevented the doors from opening. The father and others present tried desperately to rescue the child by breaking the windows, but the flames spread too rapidly. By the time the fire was brought under control using water and a fire extinguisher, the child had suffered severe burns and could not be saved. His body was later found in the back seat suggesting he may have tried to escape the flames that possibly started from the dashboard area.

The loss has left the family and local community in deep shock. The child was born after eight years of prayers, making the tragedy even more devastating for the parents. Police have begun an investigation into the incident with initial findings pointing towards a possible short circuit. A forensic team has collected evidence and authorities are examining whether any technical faults in the car may have led to the fire.
