Tragic road accident: SUV crashes into tree, four students killed; one critically injured

Rangareddy (The Uttam Hindu): A devastating road accident occurred on Friday in Telangana’s Rangareddy district when a speeding SUV lost control and rammed into a tree in the Mirzaguda area. The impact was so severe that four students travelling in the vehicle died on the spot, while a female student sustained critical injuries. The accident took place under the Mokila police station limits.
Videos from the scene clearly show the intensity of the crash. The front portion of the SUV was completely crushed, and the vehicle suffered extensive damage. Police believe the force of the collision left little chance for the occupants to survive.
The deceased have been identified as Suryateja, Sumit, Nikhil, and Rohit. Sumit (20) was a final-year BBA student at IBS College, while Nikhil (20) was also pursuing college studies. Rohit (18) was an engineering student. Suryateja, a second-year IBS College student, was a resident of Mancherial.
The injured student, Sunkari Nakshatra, who is also a second-year student at IBS College, was immediately rushed to a hospital. Doctors have stated that her condition is serious but stable.
Police have informed the families of the deceased, following which a wave of grief spread among relatives. All four bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination and will be handed over to the families afterward. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
