Varanasi (The Uttam Hindu): A hearing on the anticipatory bail plea filed by Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati in a sexual harassment case is scheduled today at the Allahabad High Court. Ahead of the proceedings, he presented his side, stating that the truth is beginning to emerge and will soon be clear to the public. He also launched a sharp criticism of Ashutosh Brahmachari Maharaj.

Speaking to the media, he said that everyone has the right to present their version and that his legal team has already placed their arguments before the court. He expressed confidence that the court will deliver a fair decision based on its judgment. He added that while attempts may be made to deny justice, falsehood cannot survive for long and the reality will gradually come to light.

Regarding the case, he said his lawyers will represent him in court and that he is ready to present all evidence. He questioned how medical reports could implicate him after several months and on what basis his involvement was being examined. He argued that such delayed medical findings hold little relevance and that linking him to a child who never came into his contact would be difficult to establish.

He further alleged that the children are currently staying with Ashutosh Brahmachari Maharaj and not with their parents. He questioned why they were being kept in a hotel and not allowed to meet journalists, and raised concerns over the level of protection being provided by the police. He said that if any evidence exists, it should be presented publicly, adding that the truth will ultimately prevail.
