US Singer Praises PM Modi, Calls Him the Most Influential Leader in Global Geopolitics

Washington (The Uttam Hindu): African-American singer and long-time admirer of India, Mary Millben, has called Prime Minister Narendra Modi the most influential and most important leader in today’s global geopolitics. She said that PM Modi’s recent meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in New Delhi has further strengthened India’s global position.
According to Millben, the Modi-Putin talks show the deep partnership and long-standing trust between the two nations. She said, “The meeting between Prime Minister Modi and President Putin was highly successful. It reflects a strong strategic bond, similar to the partnership India shares with the United States.”
Millben praised PM Modi’s diplomatic approach, especially on sensitive issues like energy, defence, and economic cooperation. She said that Putin’s focus was on expanding cooperation in oil and defence, while Modi engaged on every point with India’s interests as the top priority. She added, “A leader always works for what is best for his country, and Prime Minister Modi does exactly that.”
During the interview, she repeatedly emphasized that PM Modi’s global stature is at its peak. “Prime Minister Modi is currently the most important and influential leader in the geopolitical landscape. This is a fact. He has placed both himself and India at the center of global politics.”
Millben, who has close ties with former US President Donald Trump and his team, sharply criticized the previous US administration’s India policy. She said America’s approach to trade with India was extremely aggressive and sometimes appeared as undue pressure. “India is our friend — our strongest democratic partner. Differences may occur, but friendships must be handled without causing damage,” she said.
She added that due to America’s unnecessary aggression, many global players started exploring alternatives, which influenced India-Russia and India-China diplomacy as well. Millben directly suggested that Trump should view Modi’s leadership from a fresh perspective. “My advice is to invite Prime Minister Modi to the United States, talk openly, have dinner, apologize, and rebuild the relationship.”
According to her, such a step would also benefit America, especially if it wants to advance peace efforts in the Russia-Ukraine conflict. “If there is one leader who can mediate between Russia and Ukraine, it is Prime Minister Modi,” Millben stated. She added that world leaders are closely watching the US elections, fully aware of how intense the American election season can be.
Millben said she trusts both Modi and Trump, expressing confidence in their long-standing bond. She said that Modi’s recent diplomacy in New Delhi has further elevated his global standing. “His leadership is clearly visible, and I deeply admire it,” she said.
The Modi-Putin summit in New Delhi is being seen as the beginning of a new phase of high-level dialogue between India and Russia. Their partnership now spans defence, energy, space, and nuclear cooperation. India has maintained communication with both Russia and Ukraine, making it one of the few countries with strong relations on both sides. Today, Mary Millben is regarded as an informal cultural ambassador of India-US ties and frequently praises PM Modi’s leadership on global platforms.
