Uttarakhand's Jyotirmath Rockfall Disaster: 12 Workers Injured as Boulders Crash Down on Construction Site

Chamoli (The Uttam Hindu): There is news of a major accident due to rock breaking in Jyotirmath, Uttarakhand. According to the information, 12 workers have been injured due to rock breaking in Helang, the under-construction dam site of THDC.

As soon as the information was received, the police force from Kotwali Jyotirmath immediately left for the spot. According to the information, about 40-50 workers were working at the dam site. During this time, a part of the hill suddenly broke and fell, injuring a total of 12 workers. According to the information, 8 of these workers were sent to the camp after giving first aid, while 4 workers were sent to the government hospital of Pipalkoti after first aid due to serious injuries.
