Yoga Day celebrated from skies to seas, armed forces perform yoga at extreme locations
Indian Navy and central forces marked Yoga Day with remarkable yoga sessions from high altitudes to underwater locations.

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): International Yoga Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm across the country with the Indian Navy and Central Armed Police Forces performing yoga at unique locations ranging from the depths of the sea to an altitude of 14,000 feet. The celebrations highlighted the message of fitness, discipline and mental well-being.
Indian Navy personnel including submarine warriors, performed yoga sessions under the theme "Yoga for Healthy Ageing". CRPF personnel, along with Director General G.P. Singh and senior officers, also participated in mass yoga sessions at various locations across the country.
ITBP jawans performed yoga on the banks of Pangong Tso in Leh-Ladakh at an altitude of 14,000 feet, while CISF personnel marked the day by promoting the importance of yoga in maintaining physical fitness, mental strength and operational readiness.
