New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The Supreme Court on Friday allowed the online application for adding name in the voter list. Along with this the court also said that the documents mentioned in Form-6 (like driving license, passbook, water bill etc) can also be submitted. Apart from this the Election Commission told the Supreme Court that 22 lakh voters are dead and 7 lakh have double voters. On this the court said that we assume that 22 lakh voters are dead, but why double? The Election Commission said that it is the duty of the commission to not allow double EPIC and the people who have EPIC outside Bihar also, their EPIC has to be removed.

During the hearing on Friday, the court asked several questions to the Election Commission. Justice Suryakant remarked, 'Out of the 12 political parties of the state, only 3 parties have come to the court here.' The court reiterated its order of August 14 and also said that people can apply online and they do not need to go anywhere in person.
