Punjab’s ‘Invest Punjab’ mission reaches global platforms; Japan also impressed

Chandigarh(The Uttam Hindu): The progressive and investor-friendly policies of the Punjab government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, are now showing visible results on the ground. In this direction, a high-level Japanese delegation met Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan and expressed a strong desire to make large-scale investments in the state. Shintaro Hachiga, CEO of Japan’s renowned Fit Founder Company Ltd., and COO Takamasa Suji conveyed their interest in becoming partners in Punjab’s development. He specifically highlighted the government’s prestigious Invest Punjab platform, which functions as a single-window portal for investors. This groundbreaking initiative ensures that investors receive all mandatory approvals within just 45 days. This speed, efficiency, and ease of doing business reflect the Punjab government’s strong commitment to supporting industry and enterprise.
Speaker Sandhwan stated confidently that Punjab’s business-friendly policies and the vast investment opportunities available in the state will prove extremely beneficial for foreign investors. He also apprised the delegation of the Progressive Punjab Investors’ Summit—an important platform where the state government engages continuously with domestic and international investors to encourage further investment.
