Jalandhar jeweller's shop robbed: Masked men get away with lakhs in cash and gold at gunpoint; video surfaces

Jalandhar (The Uttam Hindu): On Thursday morning, three masked robbers fled from a jeweler's shop in Bhargava Camp area at gunpoint with cash and gold ornaments worth lakhs. According to shop owner Vijay, his son had opened the shop in the morning. Then three robbers entered and started threatening by pointing pistols. One robber broke the glass of the counter with a sharp weapon, while the other two robbers started collecting the ornaments and cash.

The robbers threatened the son and demanded cash from the safe. In about two minutes, they filled a bag with cash and jewelry worth two lakh rupees and fled the scene. During the incident, the robbers also scuffled with the shop owner's son. Upon receiving information about the incident, police from the Bhargava Camp police station arrived at the scene and are working to identify the accused based on CCTV footage.
