Monthly Krishna Janmashtami: worship Laddu Gopal for joy, peace and prosperity
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The Saptami Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Margashirsha month will start from 12:07 pm on 11th September and will last till 11:08 pm. After this, Ashtami Tithi will start. On this day, the Sun will be in Libra and the Moon will be in Cancer. According to Drik Panchang, Abhijeet Muhurta will start from 11:43 am and will last till 12:27 pm and Rahukaal time will start from 2:47 pm and will last till 4:08 pm. Ashtami Tithi will start after 11 am on Tuesday, according to which monthly Krishna Janmashtami will be celebrated on this day.
According to religious texts, monthly Krishna Janmashtami is celebrated on the Ashtami Tithi of Krishna Paksha of every month. Lord Shri Krishna was born on the Ashtami Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapada, due to which monthly Krishna Janmashtami festival is celebrated on the Ashtami Tithi of Krishna Paksha of every month. It is believed that by worshipping Bal-Gopal on this date, one gets fame, glory, wealth, prosperity and happiness of children in life and all the sins of the person are destroyed. Along with this, he attains salvation. To worship Bal-Gopal with proper rituals and keep fast on Tuesday, the person should wear clean clothes after doing daily rituals, bath etc. as per the time.
After this, clean the temple or place of worship. In your home temple, place a statue of Laddu Gopal on a pedestal in a plate. Fill a conch shell with Panchamrit and perform the anointment of Laddu Gopal. Dress Laddu Gopal in yellow clothes and adorn him with yellow flowers.
Invoke Laddu Gopal by chanting mantras and hymns. Chant the mantra "Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevay." Offer him his favorite things, such as a Tulsi garland, kheer (rice pudding), makhan (butter), sugar candy, and fruits. Finally, light a ghee lamp in front of Laddu Gopal and conclude the puja with an aarti.
