New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Fitness coach Raj Ganpath emphasizes that sustainable weight loss doesn't mean sacrificing well-being, but rather making smarter choices. In a recent Instagram video, Raj shared five valuable tips to support healthy weight loss.

According to Raj, the first tip is to "double down on vegetables." Vegetables are rich in nutritional value while being low in calories, making them an excellent addition to a weight loss diet.

Raj also stresses the importance of hydration, pointing out that most people don't drink enough water to hit their daily hydration goals. This can lead to mistaking thirst for hunger, resulting in overeating and consuming unnecessary liquid calories.

The fitness trainer emphasizes the need for intentional eating, recommending that individuals plan their meals according to their weight loss goals. This means eating less and eating well, rather than just going with the flow.

Raj also advises paying close attention to satiety, suggesting that individuals stop eating before feeling satisfied. This, he says, is the right amount of satiety when trying to lose weight.

Finally, Raj encourages embracing mild to moderate hunger, noting that it's necessary for weight loss. He recommends staying hungry for about one or two hours before eating meals, while avoiding extreme hunger. By incorporating these strategies, individuals can achieve their weight loss goals while protecting their overall health and well-being.
