New Delhi (Uttam Hindu News): In today's world, everyone wants to outdo each other and progress, which requires a strong body and mind. A strong memory plays a crucial role in our success, but if you struggle with forgetfulness in our busy lives, it's crucial to include certain essential foods in your diet.

Our brains are composed of up to 60 percent fat, a significant portion of which is omega-3 fatty acids. This is a nutrient that not only strengthens brain cells but also speeds up their ability to process information and connect with each other.

Scientific research also proves that people who eat foods rich in omega-3s have better memory. This helps them manage stress better and protect against the mental decline that comes with aging. Omega-3s are found in abundance in certain foods.

Walnuts: They resemble a brain in appearance. They are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which strengthen brain cells and improve their function. The antioxidants and vitamin E in walnuts keep the nervous system active, enhancing thinking and memory. Eating two to three walnuts daily not only improves memory but also keeps the brain active and healthy for longer.

Flax Seeds: These tiny seeds may seem insignificant, but they contain a wealth of nutrients. They are a rich source of omega-3s. The alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) they contain maintains brain cell flexibility and helps form new neuron connections. You can easily incorporate them into your diet. They improve focus and reduce mental fatigue.

Chia seeds: These seeds are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, fiber, and protein. Chia seeds reduce inflammation in the brain, making it more calm and balanced. When the brain is free of inflammation, it can think better, work longer, and handle stress better. You can soak them overnight and eat them with oats or a milkshake in the morning.

Soybeans: Considered a good source of omega-3 fatty acids, soybeans contain not only omega-3 fatty acids but also protein and lecithin, which strengthen brain cells. Tofu, also known as soy cheese, helps maintain brain energy and improves thinking. It is beneficial for everyone, from children to adults, especially those who are vegetarians.
