Navratri Day 7: Offer These Bhogs to Maa Kaalratri for Prosperity & Protection

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Today marks the seventh day of Sharadiya Navratri, also celebrated as Maha Saptami. This auspicious day is dedicated to Maa Kaalratri, the fiercest and most powerful form of Goddess Durga. Although her appearance seems terrifying—with dark complexion, disheveled hair, and three radiant eyes—devotees believe she is extremely benevolent and protective, removing fear, sorrow, and obstacles from their lives.
Maa Kaalratri, known as the destroyer of darkness and death (Kaal meaning time/death, and Ratri meaning night), is depicted riding a donkey. She has four arms—holding a sword and an iron hook in two, while the other two grant blessings and protection (varada and abhaya mudra).
