New Delhi(The Uttam Hindu): Amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, China has decided to support Pakistan. Reports indicate that 36% of Pakistan's weaponry is of Chinese origin, and in the event of war, China could provide additional assistance. Meetings between officials from Islamabad and Beijing are reportedly underway to discuss this collaboration. However, amidst these developments, North Korea has unveiled China's covert operations.

According to Newsweek, North Korea has infiltrated China's security apparatus. Kim Jong-un's operatives have reportedly gathered comprehensive information about China's defense systems, causing a stir within Chinese authorities.

In a related incident, Chinese media reported that a foreigner was apprehended near the North Korean border with a hand-drawn map of military positions concealed in his underwear. The suspect was also found with a high-powered telescope and photographs of military facilities. While the individual's nationality was not disclosed, this event has raised concerns about espionage activities in the region.

Further complicating matters, a Chinese national named Shenghua Wen was arrested in California for allegedly exporting firearms and ammunition to North Korea. U.S. federal prosecutors claim that Wen received $2 million from North Korea to procure weapons and attempted to purchase military uniforms for a potential "surprise attack" on South Korea. Wen reportedly met North Korean officials at consulates in China before coming to the United States and was directed to procure military equipment on their behalf.

These revelations have prompted questions about North Korea's motivations. Despite China's support for Pakistan, North Korea's actions suggest a more complex geopolitical landscape. Experts speculate that North Korea may be leveraging its relationship with China to further its own strategic interests.

As the situation unfolds, it remains to be seen how China will respond to these espionage activities and what implications they may have for regional security dynamics.
