Court quashes FIR against S. Barjinder Singh Hamdard, clears way for closure of case

Chandigarh(The Uttam Hindu): In a significant ruling, the Punjab and Haryana High Court has granted significant relief to Ajit's Editor-in-Chief, Mr. Barjinder Singh Hamdard. The court approved the cancellation report filed by the Vigilance Bureau in the FIR filed against him and other individuals. With this court order, the FIR in question has now been formally quashed, bringing an end to a long-standing legal dispute.
With the court accepting the Vigilance Bureau's report, all ongoing legal proceedings in the case will be considered closed. Following its investigation, the Vigilance Bureau filed a cancellation report with the court, recommending the closure of the case. The High Court, after considering the Bureau's arguments and the facts of the report, accepted the report. With this court approval, the case file will be officially closed, and no future action will be taken based on this FIR.
