₹1.15 million stolen from clothing showroom in Jalandhar’s Iconic Mall, thieves flee with cash

Jalandhar (The Uttam Hindu): A major theft has been reported from the well-known Iconic Mall in Jalandhar, where thieves allegedly stole ₹1.15 million from a clothing showroom. The incident took place late at night, and the accused fled with the cash. The matter came to light when the showroom manager arrived in the morning.

As soon as the manager noticed the theft, he immediately informed the police. A police team reached the spot and began an investigation. The manager stated that two thieves were involved in the incident and escaped with more than ₹1.1 million in cash.

According to the station in-charge, the thieves broke open the safe of the clothing showroom inside Iconic Mall and carried out the theft. The total amount stolen is estimated to be around ₹1.15 million. Suspicion has been raised against the security guard, who is reportedly missing since the incident. Police are investigating all possible angles.
