AAP Exposes Opposition's Lies, Defends Pro-Farmers Land Pooling Scheme
Chandigarh (The Uttam Hindu): The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab has strongly condemned opposition parties for spreading misinformation about the state’s land pooling scheme, accusing them of attempting to shield land mafias for personal and political gain. The Mann-led government, committed to transparency and development, vowed to safeguard farmers' rights and ensure that the benefits of this scheme reach its intended recipients: Punjab’s farmers.
AAP highlighted that opposition parties, tied to entrenched land mafia networks, are propagating baseless allegations against the government’s initiative. These parties aim to derail efforts to empower farmers and redirect the scheme’s advantages to the mafias they covertly support. The Mann government’s land pooling scheme, designed to promote fair and inclusive development, offers a transformative opportunity for thousands of farmers by ensuring proper compensation and sustainable growth without coercion. AAP asserts that the opposition's tactics are a desperate attempt to protect their vested interests at the cost of Punjab's progress.
AAP leaders and Punjab cabinet ministers exposed lies of opposition parties on their X accounts and said that AAP Government is committed to transparency and welfare of the farmers.
*Dr Ravjot Singh:* Punjab's land pooling scheme will benefit thousands of farmers. The opposition parties are spreading lies because they want the benefits meant for farmers to be diverted to the land mafia, which they themselves created and continue to secretly support.

The opposition parties, backed by land mafias, aim to mislead farmers with falsehoods so they can benefit the mafia and use farmers for their own political gains.

Farmers are urged to remain vigilant against the opposition's false narratives, as past governments empowered the land mafia. These parties now seek to divert the scheme's benefits to the mafia for their own personal gains.
*Harbhajan Singh ETO* urged the farmers to beware of the opposition's dirty politics and wrote on his X account: Opposition parties want to mislead farmers with lies because their intention is to ensure that the benefits meant for farmers go to their land mafia friends. They seek to gain personal profits from the mafia while depriving farmers of their rightful benefits, using this to secure their own political survival.
