Abohar Murder Case: Both Shooters Killed in Police Encounter, Policeman Injured

Abohar (The Uttam Hindu): A big news has come out within 24 hours in the murder case of Abohar's famous textile businessman Sanjay Verma. Police has killed both the shooters involved in the murder in an encounter. This encounter took place on Tuesday evening near Panj Peer Tibba area of Abohar. A policeman is also reported to be injured in the firing, who has been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
According to information received from the police, the two accused, Jaspreet Singh and Ram Ratan, who were arrested after the murder, were taken by the police team to Panj Peer Tibba Road for recovery today. It is being told that during this time the accused tried to escape from police custody and attacked the police team. Both the accused were killed in retaliatory action by the police.
Police officials confirmed the encounter and said that both the accused killed were involved in the Sanjay Verma murder case. A 30 bore pistol has also been recovered from the spot.
It is noteworthy that on Monday, textile trader Sanjay Verma was shot dead in broad daylight in a crowded area of Abohar. After this sensational incident, there was an atmosphere of terror in the entire area and there was heavy pressure on the police to arrest the accused as soon as possible.
