Adampur airport to launch new flights, offering better connectivity for Punjabis

Chandigarh (The Uttam Hindu): Good news has emerged for Punjabis as flights from Adampur Airport to Jaipur and Mumbai are expected to begin soon. The Airport Authority of India has completed the bidding process for these two routes, and several airline companies have shown interest in operating these services. It is reported that senior officials from IndiGo Airlines may visit Adampur Airport in the near future.

The launch of these flights will significantly benefit both local residents and businesspeople, providing easier access to Himachal Pradesh and various religious destinations. Adampur Civil Airport, which covers 35 acres of land, began its operations in 2018 with the launch of its first flight.
