Bomb threat to a school in Amritsar creates panic; police rush to the spot

Amritsar (The Uttam Hindu): In Amritsar, a private school received a bomb threat through an email, creating panic among students and staff. The school administration immediately informed the police, after which the premises were evacuated. Bomb squad teams were called to the site, and classrooms were thoroughly checked.
Police are currently investigating the matter and examining the email. The sender and the organization behind the threat have not yet been identified. As a precaution, security around the school was increased, and all necessary measures were taken to ensure the safety of students and teachers. The cyber cell has also been involved to trace the origin and purpose of the email.
According to the police, the threat appears serious, but there is also a possibility that it could be a fake email—similar to previous false alarms meant to create fear. The investigation is ongoing, and officials are working to determine whether the threat is real or hoax.
