BSF Seizes Pistol Parts and Pakistan-Made Ammunition in Punjab

Jalandhar (The Uttam Hindu): As part of its ongoing efforts against cross-border smuggling, the Border Security Force (BSF) recovered pistol components and ammunition along the Tarn Taran border in Punjab. A BSF spokesperson reported that during a search on Monday evening, alert personnel found a plastic bottle containing a pistol slide assembly near Naushera Dhalla village. The bottle was wrapped in yellow adhesive tape with a metal wire, indicating it may have been dropped via drone.
The spokesperson further stated that on Tuesday morning, monitoring suspicious drone activity, BSF personnel successfully seized a package containing 75 rounds of 9mm ammunition from a field near Rajoke village, Tarn Taran. The cartridges bore Pakistan Ordnance Factory markings, confirming the involvement of Pakistan-sponsored elements planning terrorist activities on Indian soil.
