Chandigarh: The Punjab government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh, has achieved another milestone by providing 56,856 government jobs to youth in the last three and a half years, reversing the trend of brain drain. These jobs will play a crucial role in transforming the fortunes of youth. The youth have secured jobs in various government departments. This reflects the state government's commitment to ensuring their welfare and opening up new employment opportunities for them.
It is a matter of immense pride and satisfaction that some youth have even secured two or three jobs during the state government's tenure. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that from the very first day of assuming charge of the state, he has ensured that qualified youth receive jobs, resulting in more than 58,962 youth securing government jobs so far. He said that today, 858 youth have joined the Punjab government family and will now become active partners in the state's social and economic progress. The Chief Minister stated that this is not a favor to the state's youth, but rather that they have earned these jobs based solely on their merit. He added that previous governments never paid attention to this. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that it is a matter of great pride and satisfaction that these youth have received jobs based solely on merit. He called on the newly appointed youth to become an integral part of the government and encouraged them to serve the people with full dedication.
The Chief Minister expressed hope that the newly appointed youth will use their pen to help the needy and underprivileged sections of society. He urged the newly appointed youth to ensure the maximum welfare of the people. He said that it is a matter of great pride and satisfaction that the state government has provided government jobs to over 58,962 youth so far and added that all recruitments have been made solely on the basis of merit.
The Chief Minister stated that these recruitments have been conducted in a completely transparent manner, and that the youth have secured these jobs by passing rigorous competitive examinations. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that his government's sole agenda from day one has been to empower the youth by providing them with government jobs. We are concerned about families, not jobs: Mann
The Chief Minister said that the previous government never cared about providing jobs to the state's youth because they were only concerned about their families. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the opposition, frustrated by the lack of any concrete issue against his government, is defaming him to serve its own selfish interests. He said that these nefarious conspiracies of the opposition will never succeed because the people of the state are well aware of their nefarious tactics.
