Chandigarh (The Uttam Hindu): Bhagwant Mann has been discharged from the hospital and has reportedly returned to his official residence in Chandigarh. Sources indicate that his health is improving steadily. There is speculation that he may attend the concluding ceremony of the Kila Raipur Games in Ludhiana, which end today, although no official confirmation has been issued so far.

The Chief Minister was admitted to the hospital on Monday after he complained of uneasiness. On Wednesday, former Delhi minister Manish Sisodia visited him to inquire about his health.

Earlier, on the afternoon of Shivratri (February 15), Mann had visited the Shri Rankeshwar Mahadev Shiva Temple in Dhuri, Sangrur, to offer prayers. His health reportedly worsened after the visit.

His scheduled programme in Fazilka following the Sangrur visit was subsequently cancelled, and he was taken to Fortis Hospital in Mohali for treatment. Despite this, he attended a rally in Moga on February 16. However, his condition deteriorated again later that day, leading to his hospitalization. He has now been discharged after receiving medical care.
