New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann met with President Draupadi Murmu today. During the meeting, Chief Minister Mann invited her to attend the 350th martyrdom anniversary celebrations of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur. Regarding the meeting, Chief Minister Mann said, "We have asked the President to choose any date between November 18th and 25th as per her schedule. Whichever date she decides, the Punjab government will welcome her." Chief Minister Mann met with the President at Rashtrapati Bhavan at 12 noon.

The Punjab government has also sent invitations to the Chief Ministers of all states across the country for this historic gathering. Punjab ministers are touring various states to extend invitations for the events marking the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.

In this connection, Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Cheema, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Lalchand Kataruchak arrived in Bhubaneswar on Thursday, while Industry Minister Sanjeev Arora and Agriculture Minister Gurmeet Singh Khuddian arrived in Goa. All these ministers invited the Chief Ministers of Odisha and Goa to attend the ceremony. Ministers Cheema and Kataruchak met with Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, while Arora and Khuddian met with Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant. Regarding today's meeting, Chief Minister Mann said that she is a deeply religious person, and he is aware of this. Previously, when she visited Punjab, she spent nearly two hours at Darbar Sahib, partaking of langar and listening to kirtan. Chief Ministers from across the country and Punjabis living around the world have been extended an open invitation.
