Congress leader’s brother shot dead in Ludhiana, 3 assailants flee on bike

(The Uttam Hindu): The brother of a Congress leader was shot dead in Ludhiana, Punjab. The attackers arrived on a motorcycle cornered the young man in a drinking establishment and opened fire.

The young man covered in blood was rushed to the hospital after the incident but doctors declared him dead. The deceased was identified as Amit Kumar, brother of Ludhiana Youth Congress leader Anuj Kumar.

The incident occurred near Nandpur Sue in the Sahnewal area. Police, led by SHO Gurmukh Singh of the Sahnewal police station are currently investigating the matter.
