Crackdown on Dismissed Constable Amandeep Kaur: Bungalow, Thar, Bullet and Mobile Seized

Bathinda (The Uttam Hindu): Bathinda police has started the process of confiscating the movable and immovable property of dismissed head constable Amandeep Kaur as per the orders of higher officials. Amandeep Kaur was recently caught with 17 grams of chitta (heroin) and yesterday the vigilance arrested her in the case of amassing assets disproportionate to her income.
In the presence of DSP Harbans Singh and the police of Canal Colony police station, his house number 168 located in a private colony was frozen. Along with this, a plot, a Thar car, a Bullet motorcycle and some mobile phones have also been seized.
DSP Harbans Singh, who is leading this operation, said that as per the orders, Amandeep Kaur's bungalow worth Rs 99 lakh built in Virat Green Colony of Bathinda has been confiscated and a freeze notice has been put on it. He said that after this, the rest of her related property including her Thar car will be confiscated. Amandeep Kaur's total property worth Rs 1 crore 35 lakh is to be confiscated. Apart from this, she will be produced in the court today by the Vigilance.
