Deepak Bali celebrated Holi with Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia
Delhi/Jalandhar(The Uttam Hindu): On the auspicious occasion of Holi, former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal celebrated Holi in traditional style with party leaders and supporters at senior leader Manish Sisodia's residence. The atmosphere was filled with colors, gulal (coloured powder), and the beats of drums.
A crowd of party workers had begun gathering outside and inside Manish Sisodia's residence since morning. As soon as Arvind Kejriwal arrived, supporters greeted him with rousing slogans of "Bharat Mata ki Jai" and "Inquilab Zindabad." Leaders and workers then greeted each other with gulal (coloured powder) and wished each other a Happy Holi.
Punjab Aam Aadmi Party General Secretary and Advisor to the Punjab Heritage and Tourism Promotion Board, Deepak Bali, was specially present on the occasion. He greeted Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab in-charge Manish Sisodia with Holi greetings by applying gulal (colourful powder) to them.
In his address, Deepak Bali said that this occasion is not only a festival of colours, but also a symbol of the victory of truth and struggle. He said that the party leaders have faced difficult situations bravely. "Attempts were made to defame our leaders, but the public's trust and the power of truth have always been with us. Today's celebration symbolizes that faith," he said. He said that this Holi is dedicated to the victory of honesty over dishonesty.
He further stated that the Aam Aadmi Party has always prioritized the issues of the common people and will continue to remain committed to public service. He said that opposition parties tried every possible way to defame his party, but the "radical honesty" of Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia is so strong that it cannot be tarnished by any conspiracy.
He said that we have worked on issues of education, health, electricity, water, and public welfare. Our aim is not politics, but service. The trust of the people is our greatest strength. This led to a special enthusiasm among the workers.
The workers danced and sang to the beat of drums. Amidst patriotic songs and party slogans, the leaders were drenched in gulal. The entire campus was decorated with colors, and the atmosphere was clearly filled with enthusiasm and energy. At the end of the program, all the leaders and workers gave the message of unity and brotherhood.
