Amritsar/Chandigarh(The Uttam Hindu): Aam Aadmi Party Punjab’s Chief Spokesperson and Ajnala MLA, Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, issued a strong and unequivocal warning to gangsters and anti-social elements. Addressing a press conference in Amritsar, Dhaliwal said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is fighting an uncompromising battle to restore and maintain peace and law and order in the state. AAP leader Gurpartap Singh was also present.

Dhaliwal revealed that in the last three and half years, Punjab Police has registered 310 FIRs against gangsters and anti-social groups. He added that around 302 gangsters have been injured, and nearly 30 have been neutralized during police operations. “Our police personnel have fought bravely, 39 officers have been injured and three have been martyred while protecting Punjab,” he said.

He praised the swift response of the police force, citing multiple cases where accused were arrested within 48 hours. “Anyone who thinks they can disrupt peace in Punjab is living under an illusion. Gangsters must immediately quit criminal activities, join the mainstream, leave Punjab, or be ready for the consequences,” Dhaliwal declared.

He also highlighted that Pakistan-backed forces continue to encourage gangsters to destabilize the state, but the Mann government has not allowed any such conspiracy to succeed and will never allow Punjab’s peace to be disturbed.

Dhaliwal reiterated that the government will not tolerate extortion, threats, or any attempt to take the law into one’s own hands. “Just as we have waged a decisive war against the drug mafia, our fight against gangsters will continue until every such element is wiped out from Punjab,” he said.

Assuring the people of Punjab, Dhaliwal stated, “CM Bhagwant Mann’s government stands firmly with every citizen. Protecting your life and property is our duty, and we will continue to fulfill it with full commitment. Punjab Police is fully capable, courageous, and prepared to handle any situation.”

He appealed to the public to remain confident and assured that Punjab is safe and secure under the current government. “No one should fear. We are with the people of Punjab, and we will never allow peace to be disturbed,” Dhaliwal added.
