Farmer leader Jathedar Kashmir Singh Jandiala died in a road accident

Jalandhar (The Uttam Hindu): Jathedar Kashmir Singh Jandiala, spokesperson of Doaba region of Bharatiya Kisan Union Rajewal, died in a road accident on Friday. According to the information received, at around 11 am when he was going to the fields on his motorcycle, he suddenly collided with a speeding Bullet rider. Due to the collision, both the motorcyclists were seriously injured. Seeing the serious condition of Kashmir Singh, the people around and his family took him to a private hospital in Phagwara, but due to brain injury and other serious injuries, he was referred to a private hospital. Where the doctors declared him dead.
District President of Bhartiya Kisan Union Rajewal, Mandeep Singh Samra, said that during the accident, Jathedar Kashmir Singh's arm and leg were broken and he suffered a brain injury above the eye, due to which he died as soon as he reached the hospital. He said that the youth riding the bullet motorcycle has been identified as Malkit Singh, a resident of Jamsher, who has suffered minor injuries. Jathedar's family refused to take any legal action in the accident. Mandeep Singh Samra said that the last rites of the farmer leader will be performed only after the arrival of his relatives living in Canada.
