Fatal Accident in Mukerian: Couple Dies After Scooter Collides with Truck

Mukeria (The Uttam Hindu): A devastating accident occurred on the Jalandhar-Pathankot national highway in front of Shehnai Grand Villa, Musahibpur, Mukerian. A scooter collided with a truck coming from behind, resulting in the deaths of a husband and wife, Rakesh Kumar (32) and Anju Wala. Their 4-year-old son, Manpreet, was seriously injured.

The people gathered at the scene rushed the injured and deceased to Civil Hospital Mukerian. The bodies were kept in the morgue for post-mortem examination, while the child was admitted for treatment. Due to the critical condition of the child, the doctor referred him to Government Medical College Amritsar. The police reached the spot and initiated action.
